Springtime Work and Play
Spring is in the air here in South Dakota. Days are getting warmer, the sun is shining, and the bike path and walking trails are begging to be traveled. (especially in the middle of the work day) This time of year also brings out the need to break open the windows and let in the fresh air. And to some, the need to do that most wonderful project of all: Spring Cleaning. (any husband should be running and screaming right now)
To help out with this task, I’ve found some websites with handy tips and helps that may help your spring cleaning projects along:

Have kids? Don’t exclude them from the fun. Take a look at these 5 tips to have your kids help you polish and scrub:

And then there’s that lawn that needs attention - get rid of the old to make ready for the new. Sorry – more manual labor required on this one:

And let’s not forget to keep those mechanical systems up, operational and maintained while everything is getting spruced up and the furniture is getting moved around (except for that corner computer desk – that thing will be there until it falls through the floor…). State Farm has a great checklist on their site to help make sure your systems are running safe and effectively.

Spring is not only a great time for kids to run off their winter steam (outside!), but also to work on fun projects and activities. Family Fun has a host of ideas for springtime ideas for your family.
